With Unidisc 40, the past and future meet in a special 40th anniversary package to celebrate one of the most revered music labels in history. Throughout 2021, the label will be unveiling a collection of remixes of Unidisc's greatest hits, with an all-star cast of modern day producers to equal Unidisc's eighties roster.
As part of the UD40 Remix Project, Tiga, architect behind Montreal’s infamous dance music scene, remixes the 1983 hit ‘Angel Eyes’ by legendary Montreal duo Lime for the ultimate hometown ode. An enigma of an individual the world can’t get enough of, Tiga infuses his dark mystery taking listeners on an unpredictable dance music ride bewitched by a seductively syncopated rhythm. Turbocharging the bpm’s and amplifying the bumping sound, he re-energizes the Billboard dance hit, weaving a tale of beats and bass to be unravelled in a dark room.
